Samsung’s United States arm announced a self-repair program for Galaxy smartphones and tablets together with iFixit, a firm that specializes in tech spare parts and repair.
The Samsung Galaxy self-repair program will essentially give users easy access to spare parts, tools needed for the repairs, and more importantly, guides on tutorials so they can fix their devices themselves.

It will be available in select countries in the coming months and will initially cover flagship devices like the Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S20 series, and the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus. More devices will be added soon.
Owners of the said devices can avail of spare display modules, rear glass panels, and charging ports and components. No mention of battery replacements, but an executive from Samsung US did confirm that the batteries are attached to the display for a simpler repair process.
As for the old and discarded parts, users can mail them to Samsung for recycling.
