HMD Global went to IFA 2022 and releases a couple of brand new hardware. One of those devices is the X30 5G, which will get years of after-sales support and is built on sustainable materials with eco-friendly packaging.
The Nokia X30 5G is definitely one of the fancier models that the company recently released. It has a metal chassis, which is apparently entirely made of recycled aluminum.
It then has a sturdy Corning Gorilla Glass Victus that’s protecting the colorful 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate. While on the back, the cameras are guarded by Gorilla Glass DX+.
Speaking of which, it boasts a sharp 50-megapixel main shooter with optical image stabilization, joined by a sharp 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. No depth sensor, no nonsense. A punch-hole on the screen holds the 16-megapixel selfie snapper.
Under the hood, it is powered by the 5G-equipped Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor that can be paired with 8GB/256GB of RAM and storage configurations.
To keep its sleek profile, the X30 5G settles for a relatively small 4,300mAh battery, joined by a 33W USB Type-C charger.
HMD Global knows that great after-sales support is the best marketing strategy. That’s why, for the X30 5G, they are implementing the so-called “3-3-3 promise”.
It means that the device is secured to receive 3 major OS updates, 3 years of security patches, and whopping 3 years of extended warranty.
The Nokia X30 5G is now available in select markets for EUR530 (around Php30,200). No official word yet if it is coming to the Philippines.
