It looks like PLDT really wants everyone to be onboard on the Fiber Internet train.
The telecommunications and Internet service provider now offers 50% off when you switch to PLDT Home Fibr. We think this is another step that the company is taking to increase the number of Smart Homes and Fibr Cities in the Philippines.
As per PLDT, the special offer will be available for the following:
- Totally new Home Fibr customers switching from non-PLDT Fixed Wired, Fixed Wireless, Pocket WiFi or Landline only services
- Existing PLDT Landline only customers with subscription to non-PLDT Fixed Wired, Fixed Wireless or Pocket WiFi broadband subscription, switching to Home Fibr
And if you think you’re legible for the promo, you can enjoy 50% off on your Fibr bill for 6 months once you switch. Thus, the promos will now be as follows:

Besides the half-price discount, PLDT will also provide FREE installation — a WiFi modem will also be included, free of charge.
There are a few caveats, though. For one, there’s a long lock-in period of 36 months. And if you choose to end it before the 3-year obligation ends, there’s going to be a pre-termination fee that’s worth 3x the regular Home Fibr monthly fee.
If you’re interested in switching to PLDT Home Fibr, you’ll need all the necessary documents listed below:
- Valid ID
- Signed PLDT Customer Information Sheet
- Switch Subscription Contract
- Most recent, non-PLDT Fixed Wired, Fixed Wireless, Pocket WiFi Broadband or Landline bill
Once the requirements have been fulfilled, your application is subject to PLDT’s standard credit screening and facility check.
