Data Lake, Inc., a firm backed by SM Group’s Henry Sy Jr., further solidifies its partnership with Starlink by signing an agreement that will make Starlink starter kits available at all SM Malls across the Philippines.

As per the agreement, interested buyers can get the Starlink hardware kit at all SM Malls nationwide starting November 1. The kit includes the satellite dish, tripod stand, cables, power supply, and modem — the entire package will cost Php29,000.

Earlier this year, it’s been unveiled that Data Lake will be the first Starlink integrator in the Philippines

“Our collaboration with Starlink has showcased the vast potential of our joint endeavors. We’re now amplifying our commitment to ensuring rapid, reliable internet connectivity worldwide,” Sy said.

Starlink was seen as an effective solution in addressing the connectivity woes in the Philippines, especially in remote and hard-to-reach areas.

An archipelago, using Starlink’s constellation of low-orbit satellites to provide internet in different islands in the Philippines is more economical than building wired infrastructure.

Upon checking on Data Lake’s official Facebook page, they have Silicon Valley, a computer/gadget store, as a fulfillment partner for Starlink starter kits in different SM Malls across the country.
