HONOR has subtly launched the new HONOR X9b with a listing on its official website in Saudi Arabia.
The new HONOR X9b, as the name hints, is a successor to the popular HONOR X9a. This means it will also have an ultra-though screen or the “HONOR Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Display” as the brand calls it. The company is bragging about its SGS 5-star whole-device drop resistance protection and 5-fold eye protection.
As for the display panel itself, what we have here is a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 2652 x 1200 pixel resolution and a high 120Hz refresh rate.
Like its predecessor, it has thin bezels with curved sides, in-display fingerprint scanner, and a punch-hole for the 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The design on the back was also carried over. A large circular glass holds the 108-megapixel main camera, with a low-resolution 5-megapixel ultra-wide and 2-megapixel macro lens.
It still comes in Emerald Green and Midnight Black colors, with the addition of a vibrant and leather-like Sunrise Orange option.
At the helm of everything is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, aided by a lucrative 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
It has a 5,800mAh battery, an upgrade from its predecessor and bigger than most of the competition. Charging is done by the included 35W adapter.
