After months of leaks and rumors, OnePlus’s first foldable phone is finally out. Meet the OnePlus Open.

Sadly, instead of becoming its own and completely new device, the OnePlus Open is basically a rebranded OPPO Find N3, which also just became official. The only difference, other than the branding, is that the OnePlus foldable will make it to more markets across the globe.

That said, the main highlight here is still the cameras, which are tuned by renowned camera maker Hasselblad. There’s the new 48-megapixel LYTIA-T808 sensor from Sony with optical image stabilization (OIS), f/1.7 aperture, and 24mm equivalent lens.

There’s also a 48-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a 64-megapixel sensor for the 3x periscope-style telephoto lens. Each of the displays will get its own selfie camera: 32-megapixel on the cover screen and 20-megapixel on the main, foldable panel.

Speaking of the displays, the main one is a large 7.82-inch foldable screen that uses a Flexi-fluid LTPO 3.0 AMOLED panel with a 1-120Hz dynamic refresh rate.

Meanwhile, the cover screen uses a 6.31-inch Super Fluid LTPO 3.0 AMOLED panel with a 2440 x 2268 pixel resolution and the same 1-120Hz dynamic refresh rate.

Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It comes with a 67W charger on the box, which can fully charge the 4,805mAh battery in just 42 minutes — at least that’s one OnePlus claims.

For the interface, the company has developed OnePlus Canvas that’s focused on multitasking. They claim that 95% of the most popular apps work with the expanded display. You can also resize the active window in a multi-window view. You can have three windows up simultaneously.

The OnePlus Open comes in a single 16GB/512GB configuration for a price of EUR1,799 (~Php108,100). They are now up for pre-order in select parts of Europe. No word yet as to which between this or the Find N3 we’re getting here in the Philippines.
