Apple has recently introduced the highly-anticipated iPhone 15 series, featuring notable upgrades such as a 48-megapixel camera, iOS 17, USB Type-C port, Dynamic Island, and a whole lot more. While various details about the lineup were revealed during the launch event, information regarding the battery capacity was scarce. Fortunately, we now have access to the battery specifications.

Based on a regulatory listing in China, the iPhone 15 series reportedly received a battery capacity increase of up to 2.3 percent compared to last year’s iPhones.

According to Apple, the iPhone 15 can last for up to 20 hours of video playback. The 15 Plus, on the other hand, offers 6 hours more with 26 hours of video playback support. In addition, the more expensive Apple iPhone 15 Pro provides 23 hours of video playback, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max can last for up to 29 hours.
