Samsung just brought two new entry-level Galaxy phones in the Philippines: the Samsung Galaxy A05 and A05s.
First, let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy A05, which features a unique pattern design on the back that makes the look interesting despite only being available in Black and White.
In typical Samsung fashion, the brand of the chipset used was not mentioned. However, they did say that it is an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and an option between 64GB and 128GB of storage.
There’s a large 6.7-inch HD+ display on the front with an 8-megapixel camera on top; a sharp 50-megapixel main camera on the back, paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There’s a standard 5,000mAh battery with a fast-for-a-Samsung-device 25W charging. Sadly, it didn’t get to have a fingerprint scanner
The Samsung Galaxy A05 4GB/64GB has a price of Php5,690 and 4GB/128GB for Php6,690.

If you want something more, check out the Samsung Galaxy A05s, which has a sharper 13-megapixel selfie camera and gains a 2-megapixel macro lens. It also has a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor.
It also managed to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a sharper FHD+ display with a high 90Hz refresh rate.
The Samsung Galaxy A05s has a price of Php7,990. Both models are now available in Samsung physical stores nationwide.
