Networking equipment vendor TP-Link has unveiled a new security solution for the smart home in the form of the Tapo C211 Wi-Fi Camera. Launched in the Philippines, it is currently exclusively available at PC Express outlets for its first month.

Equipped with a 2K 3MP camera that provides a 360-degree panoramic view coupled with a 114-degree tilt, the Tapo C211 offers comprehensive coverage for families, home-based entrepreneurs, and small business owners. It is designed to protect assets, monitor family members, or even keep an eye on pets.

One standout feature of the Tapo C211 is the device sharing capability, which allows up to five TP-Link accounts to access the camera feed simultaneously. Users can also choose to save data on a local microSD card (supporting up to 512GB) or opt for cloud storage with a Tapo Care subscription.

  • two-way audio support for remote communication via a built-in microphone and speaker.
  • person and motion detection alerts
  • advanced night vision for better visibility in low-light surroundings
  • voice controls, with support for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant

The Tapo C211 Wi-Fi Camera will be sold exclusively at PC Express until November 12, 2023. As a launch special, each Tapo C211 purchase will include a complimentary 32GB SD card, courtesy of PC Express.

Back in August, TP-Link opened its first concept store in the Philippines. Devices put up for sale include products from TP-Link sub-brands Tapo and VIGI.
