What is the SNOW – AI Profile App?
The app that we’ll look at to create Korean AI Pictures is the SNOW – AI Profile. It is a photo editor and augmented reality (AR) app created by the South Korean company SNOW Corporation. It is also behind other popular photo and video editor smartphone apps, like EPIK – AI Photo Editor.
The company claims that the app has already amassed 200 million users worldwide via Google’s Android and Apple’s App Store and has attracted Pinoy users and influencers to have their own Korean look.
How to make your Korean AI Portrait for FREE
To get started with your Korean aesthetic look, here’s what you should do:
Step 1. Download the SNOW – AI Profile App for FREE (available on the App Store and Google Play Store).
Step 2. Open the app and agree to the terms and conditions and other requirements to access.
Step 3. Tap the Home button. This is because the default screen is the camera after granting access.
Step 4. Click the “SNOW AI.”
Step 5. Hit “AI Profile.” This will show you seven scrolling sample photos for reference.
Step 6. Tap “Begin Now.”
Note: The AI Profile service is usually delayed during peak hours, so the app recommends trying the AI Profile feature in the early morning or at night.
Step 7. Read the Tips and Disclaimers.
Step 8. Upload 10 to 20 selfies.
Some tips before uploading your selfies include having only one face in the selfies and showing various poses, backgrounds, and expressions. It is also best to avoid using selfies with obstructed faces, like wearing sunglasses and masks, overexposed pictures, and black-and-white photos.
Step 9. Choose Your VIP Subscription Payment Option (or use the Free 7-day Trial).
Though the app is free to download, the AI Profile feature is not. The VIP Subscription is needed to use the AI Profile and unlock other AI features, ad-free experience, and high-resolution videos. You can also try the 7-day free trial, but if you have already used it, here are two payment options:
- Yearly – Php1,500 per year (Php125 per month)
- Monthly – Php200 per month
Step 10. Select Gender. Previously, the app only offered a Female version, but as of June 29, 2023, it has already added a male version.
Step 11. Tap “Create a Profile” and get 30 different profile pictures.
The AI results may cause mixed feelings, especially if you don’t find the result satisfactory. It’s important to note that the output will vary on many things, such as your uploaded selfies and the current AI capability of the app. Nevertheless, just enjoy and have fun.
